Have your logo converted from JPG to EPS

Nowadays it's not that difficult to design your own logo in the many free programs available on the internet. Your logo is then formatted as a JPG or PNG file and you can work perfectly fine with that if you only use your logo online (for example on your website). But when you want to use your logo for other marketing purposes, by having it printed on letterhead, folders, t-shirts, or posters, for example, a JPG or PNG file is no longer sufficient. It's then necessary to have your logo converted to an EPS file.

What's the difference between JPG and EPS?

The biggest difference between a JPG and an EPS file is the way they're built. A JPG file is built from pixels. You could see a pixel as a colored dot on your computer screen. Very many of these dots together then form an image. Everything you see on your computer screen is built from pixels. An EPS file, on the other hand, consists of vector lines. These lines are simple geometric objects, such as curves, points, and lines. If you combine all these basic shapes with each other, a vector image is created. A vector image (EPS) can be enlarged to any desired format, while the quality remains the same. With a JPG, quality loss will occur because the pixels become blurry when you enlarge them.

Why a logo in EPS file?

When you want to have your logo printed, it's therefore important that no quality loss occurs. With an EPS file, you can make your logo infinitely large while your logo always remains sharp. If you had your logo designed by a professional graphic design agency, there's a chance that you already have an EPS file in your possession. Most graphic designers work with design programs like Illustrator, in which vector EPS files can be created. However, if this isn't the case, you'll see that when you use your JPG file to have your logo printed, the result is often unclear and grainy (depending on the size at which you have it printed). As a professional company, you naturally want a professional appearance and we understand this all too well. However, you only achieve this if you have your logo converted to an EPS file.
